Kyle
E. McGlotten hails from East
Orange, New Jersey (Exit 15W). An unabashed 'Techie' (Nerd works too)
and recovering "Sportaholic" he holds an undergraduate degree
in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Stony
Brook. Since he was not ready to go get a 'real job' at the time,
he went to graduate school where he received his Master of Science in
Computer Science at the University of Virginia. It turned out to
be a great move too, since that is where GOD blessed him to meet one
Angelique Cooper.
Kyle
invested over 17 years in the corporate world of computer and network
technology. Working for such companies as AT&T Bell
Laboratories, Lucent Technologies and ADC, with his last corporate stop as
Director of Strategic Planning for a multi-billion dollar technology
company, he was as shocked as anyone to find out one day he would be
stewarding a ministry focused on showing people how they can have an
intimate relationship with GOD. And this is a man who for most of
his young adult life was an Agnostic.
There
wasn't a turning point per se as much as there was a gradual gravitation
towards GOD that he didn't see coming. After being saved for 17
years and a lot of prayers from a GOD fearing woman named Angelique, Kyle
finally got to a spot in his life in August of 2003, when GOD finally got
through to him and he was willing to stop playing church and get serious with
GOD. He said:
"OK
GOD. I believe you have a plan for me as it says in Your Word and
You have worked on me to the point where I am finally willing to submit
to you as my Lord and not just my Savior. So from now on, whatever
You want me to do, that's what I want to do. I may not feel like
it and I know I cannot do it without Your help, so send that Holy Spirit
guy I'm just learning about to help me."
Within
3 weeks after that heart commitment was made, the Lord put on Kyle's heart
the vision for THE ASSIGNMENT.
Working
in the corporate world and owning several businesses as well, Kyle had the
unique opportunity over the years of chatting with over a thousand people on a 1-to-1
basis regarding their aspirations. In these
discussions, he learned that almost 100% of these people did not like what
they did for a living. Therefore, Kyle always had a burning desire
to enable people to become financially independent so they could do what
they love to do. Unfortunately, the tiny percentage of people
who do reach "Financial Independence" are still not satisfied,
because there is still something missing.
What
is missing is that people are still not doing what GOD has created them
to do. When you are outside the will of GOD you will always have a
hole in you that nothing but GOD can fill. However, the challenge is
learning to discover that calling -- that ASSIGNMENT from GOD.
When
Kyle was in high school deciding what field he should go into, he knew he
really liked teaching more than anything else. Unfortunately
teachers did not make much money (still don't), so he went into the
corporate world. However, GOD has drawn him back to what he truly
loves, because it is what he was created to do. Kyle's passion
is to share these guiding principles of discovering one's calling with
anyone who is willing to hear. Everyone has the opportunity to
discover exactly what GOD has created them to do and what's more, they will love doing
it.
They
just have to be willing to let GOD take them on THEIR ASSIGNMENT!!!

Angelique Cooper-McGlotten, though now an American citizen, originates from Liberia, a country situated on the west coast of Africa. She relocated to the United States in 1980 after a violent military coup in her country threatened the lives of her family. After completing her high school education in Northern Virginia, she matriculated to the University of Virginia as a pre-medical student, concentrating in psychology. While at UVA, she was blessed to meet the man who she would later become preciously bound to, Kyle E. McGlotten. Angelique and Kyle enjoy a God-touched, vibrant, and nurturing bond of over fourteen years. They currently reside in Warrenton, VA with the beautiful gifts entrusted them by God: two darling sons, Jared Pierce and Jordan Cayce, who are eleven and seven respectively and an adorable daughter, Chayil Joie, who is four years old. Angelique has been tremendously blessed to be a stay-at-home mother and regards parenting as one of her most fulfilling roles in life. Together, she and Kyle have recently embraced the opportunity and privilege to home-school the three children God has blessed them to mentor. Angelique is an avid reader and enjoys writing both poetry and prose. A collection of her inspired poetry entitled "The Weaver’s Thread" was published in 2001, and her poetry has been recognized by national poetry organizations.
Angelique relishes cultivating her passion
to inspire and challenge other believers to yield to the leadership of the
Holy Spirit in their lives so that they may experience a progressively
deepening love for Jesus, become fully surrendered to HIM and thus wholly
embrace and walk out a lifestyle of holiness. She longs to see believers
wholly consecrated and sanctified for the Master’s purpose so that the
Body of Christ may appropriate all that Christ poured out His blood for it
to inherit. She yearns for Christ to ever be embraced by a passionate Bride.
Her heart’s desire is for God’s people to embrace and truly walk out His
divine precepts and dictates, and for all believers to step out in faith and
be planted exactly where God wants them in His vineyard i.e., know the gifts
God has graced them with in order to walk in their individual God-given
assignments and labor in the place to which God has called them. She is
fully dedicated to living a consecrated life of obedience and holiness, and
to bear abundant fruit so that Christ may be magnified in her own life and
her Father in heaven glorified. Her avocation is to always be in the
epicenter of God’s pre-ordained will for her life, and to move in the
fullness of His power. Angelique’s deepest desire is to entirely fulfill
her God-given purpose and destiny with both integrity and excellence, and to
return to her Master completely emptied of everything bestowed on her for
the benefit of HIS body.
Impassioned by HIS grace to be a true
worshiper, Angelique’s driving ambition and constant preoccupation is to
pleasure the heart of God and delight Him in all her ways. Her all-consuming
desire is to pursue the depths of God, and develop the deepest level of
intimacy possible with the Lover of her soul. She is relentless in her
pursuit to experience the glory realm and manifest presence of Almighty God,
determined to ever be changed in HIS glory that she may reflect more and
more of the divine nature of Christ. Her unceasing supplication is that she
would be a humble and worthy vessel that God can saturate with the glory of HIS
presence and anoint with HIS power to remove the burden, destroy the yoke
and help set the captives free. Angelique yearns for the distilled residue
of GOD’s sweet fragrance to continually perfume her life. Like a flower
she wants to blossom living a life that is ever pleasing to Him. In short,
she is consumed with passion for the tapestry of her life to be woven into a
beautiful symphony of praise and jubilant dance of worship in honor of her
Lord. For her Sweet Beloved, nothing less will do…
She ascribes to God alone ALL the glory,
honor and praise…forever and ever!
